Combined Services Disabled Ski Team Suspension Day

Friday 30th July 2010

Supacat organised and ran a suspension study day for the Combined Services Disabled Ski Team on Thursday 29 July. The event was also attended by members of the Great Britain Squad. The programme involved theory sessions in the classroom followed by weigh-ins and analysis of the current set up and finally, practical sessions on-snow including on-board data logging. The day was led by David Potter who works for Supacat as a consultant. David is one of the world's leading motorsport suspension experts. A former world rally and touring car chief engineer, David has worked with a vast array of world champions to enhance their results across the entire spectrum of motorsport. David has been heavily involved in the suspension tuning and set-up of the renowned Jackal vehicle and also, Supacat's all-new SPV400 Lightweight Protected Patrol Vehicle. The day was a huge success. The Supacat Team were able to educate the athletes and coaches and highlight some key areas for improvement in the suspension systems used by all of the skiers. Supacat will now be working closely with the teams to implement some changes that have the potential to transform their results.
