Nick Baker

Engineering Manager

Nick Baker joined Supacat in 2006.

Nick ensures Supacat’s lean engineering and subcontractor resources are used efficiently. He is also responsible for engineering tools and software, and for ensuring his staff work in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Previously Nick managed the engineering team at Rexquote, designing and developing road-rail vehicles. Before this he was Manufacturing Manager at Crystalox, in charge of the design and manufacture of equipment for producing and processing multi-crystalline silicon.

Nick has also worked in design and project engineering at organisations such as Rover Cars, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, Williams Touring Cars and Croft Associates.
